Why take care of Earth? I want to live on the Moon. - Blog Action Day 2009 | Climate Change

Hey y’all, alright so this post is specifically made for Blog Action Day, where every year there’s a topic that all bloggers write about and which all the posts and support for the cause will be seen at blogactionday.org. I’m not just writing for the sakes of it, because climate change is a big issue worldwide. It’s a problem, but one we can fix. Oh and don’t mind my bad attempt at humor in the image above. continue reading…

    Happy Columbus Day?

Hope you guys had a good weekend, and also are having a day off of school like me. So getting into the topic of this post, what is Columbus Day anyways? If you don’t live in the U.S. it might not seem much, and there’s a couple reasons for that. Heck, I could care less about this holiday but at least I don’t have school because of it. continue reading…

    UE Chat - Version 2.1

A much needed update is finally here, and to get things going back on Unveiled Entertainment I’ve decided to upgrade the chat. There is a modified look, some fixed bugs, faster performance under the hood, and a couple new features that I’d like to introduce to all of you. The version is named 2.1, simply because I realized that I named the older version 2.0 because switching away from Xat was a major step for UE. So let’s check out what’s new, eh? continue reading…

    Remembering 9/11

A moment of tragedy, fear, death, but most importantly hope. There is nothing in the world that would make me think that this event is not worth to be remembered for all eternity. Living in New York perhaps makes me feel closer to this day but having not witnessed it myself won’t give me the same experience and grief that many others who did. September 11th, 2001 was the day when the World Trade Center in NYC was attacked by two planes, which was obviously a terrorist attack although this was not known at first. All the videos, documentaries, and movies on this event already prove how strong 9/11 was and the emotion behind it, but what should we do to keep this moment alive every year? continue reading…

Well guessing from the title already, you may already know that I’ll be leaving for a bit. Why? Well some of my relatives live in Ukraine (I’m a pretty big mix of cultures) so my mom, sister, and I will be visiting them again. At first I didn’t really want to go but after thinking how long they haven’t seen us, I changed my mind. I’m pretty excited right now, and mostly for the plane trip because I love flying. continue reading…

    Redefining Communication - chat.myunv.com - UE Chat

You may have noticed how updates kinda halted for the past week or so, this was mostly because I was being lazy again and that updating the site actually feels like work sometimes. Obviously it’s still summer for me, so I’m trying to enjoy every last minute of it. Also thanks to some who got me addicted to Halo for PC, I’m wasting my time on that sometimes too. Well being past that, you probably already looked at the title, or were one of the early beta testers to know that I’m rolling out with another old but revamped feature here at Unveiled Entertainment. continue reading…

    XP or Windows 7? Hmm...

Hi again, well I’ve lost track of what day it is being summer and all but being the techy nerd I am, I decided to download a theme again for my computer. Now from the title you might’ve thought I’d be doing a comparison of Windows XP vs. Windows 7, but nah I haven’t even tried out the beta or anything but it seems like it’s really good so I’m guessing it’s either just as good or better than XP. I think that XP is the best OS so far, or perhaps Ubuntu which I still didn’t try yet either but what it lacks is the flashiness of the modern world. Nobody’s windows are plain blue anymore.. there’s shades of blue and transprency, glows on titles, etc. So let’s check out this awesome theme I got… continue reading…

print friendly button to the rescue! Print Friendly - Save Money & the Environment

How’s it hanging everyone? Today I’d like to reveal a new feature of the blog and possibly more sections to come that might come in handy. I decided to add a “print friendly” button to the site, which allows you to print only the blog post/article itself. No backgrounds, fancy images, nav, sidebar, or any of that stuff. All you get is the black text with the option to remove any section or inline images within that post. Another cool feature is that you can also get a PDF version of the post so you may download and save for later. continue reading…
