The rumors are true, a music video for “Love The Way You Lie” by Eminem that features Rihanna is in the making. Director Joseph Kahn announced on Twitter, “Got off a call. Emergency music video. Gonna write and turn in a treatment in three hours to shoot asap. Video is gonna happen. Lots of work to do now. Did I say three hours? I f—ing lied. Finished and sent. 45 minutes. FTW. Video is awarded. Starts shooting Tuesday. Eminem & Rihanna. Off we go!”

Joseph Kahn has shot numerous other music videos for Eminem, and other great artists such as Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, and Kelly Clarkson. “Without Me” and “We Made You” were some of Eminem’s videos that he directed, in which he received a Grammy in 2002. Kahn also won VMAs for Video of the Year and Best Direction.

The song, which you can listen to on UE Music has gained a lot of people’s interest, since the lyrics express Rihanna as one who is being burned (metaphorically of course) yet sings how she likes the way it hurts. Eminem also raps great lyrics as he intros with “I can’t tell you what it really is. I can only tell you what it feels like.”

The music video is being shot in Los Angeles, and director Joseph Kahn seemed to have rushed into it at the last minute as his tweet said “Got off a call. Emergency music video. Gonna write and turn in a treatment in three hours to shoot ASAP.” There are rumors popping up that the video will feature cameos from Megan Fox and actor Dominic Monaghan from “Lost”.

In the only picture we have of Rihanna so far, her hair has been dyed to red to match the background setting of a burning house of some sort. She wears a cross around her neck and we anticipate some steamy situations in the music video. There are some pictures of Eminem however that show a more serious side of him. I would like to joke that he doesn’t seem to have any other side but ugh, yea.
