Rihanna Magazine Cover
Rihanna’s latest album, Rated R hasn’t exactly been filled with butterflies and rainbows. At least not the colorful ones, and it’s great to see that she’s getting in touch with nature on the cover of teen fashion magazine, Seventeen.
The trend in Rihanna’s music videos has so far been military like in Hard and Russian Roulette, or sleezy like in Rude Boy or Te Amo. The album is supposed to tell of her life and how it is literally Rated R.
This 22 year-old girl had a lot to share:
Emotional Growth: “There’s a balance in my life that wasn’t there before. It’s a really different peace, a different energy.”
Being Happy:”It’s really liberating. It makes you feel so proud when you look back and see how much it took you to actually get here. And it’s the best feeling. I’m really enjoying life right now.”
Being Yourself: “Don’t be afraid to be yourself just because you’re not like everybody else in class. If you want to dye your hair green and that’s what makes you happy, then dye your hair green-no matter what other people might say about it. Not everybody is going to like you – that’s the world we live in; that’s reality.”
