HootSuite 5
HootSuite is a social media dashboard that lets you easily manage your various social networks in one place. Twitter, Facebook, and Ping.fm are only to name a few and you can even have others collaborate with you and post to your accounts without giving away the password.
Version 5 was released just today though and is something to be really excited about. HootSuite has been a major help for Unveiled Entertainment as it helps manage our various social networks and stay updated on the latest news.
The reason HootSuite5 is such a game changer now though is because of its new features, mostly focusing around HTML5 that only the major browsers support excluding Internet Explorer. There is a new and improved user interface that really makes HootSuite a very sexy platform to use, and the new interface also saves a lot of space allowing more room for your social streams. Not only that, but you can change the themes to suite your mood.
The HTML5 features are really cool. First, it helps HootSuite load as fast as possible by using a new caching technique. It safely stores data on your computer so it doesn’t have to be loaded every time. Next is geo-location, that helps you know what is going on in your region. This will be very useful for most, since if you’re in New York, why care what’s happening in Italy?
