Rdio Music Service
Rdio is a new music service for listening, downloading, and syncing your collection of music. It is so new that it’s not even out yet, so using my beta account I decided to give you a walk-through of the service. You can find the video below or on our YouTube channel.
You should also be happy to know that you will be able to test this service out yourself and start using it free for 3 days. You can of course get a subscription that prices at around $10 a month for all platforms (web, desktop, mobile & ability to sync) but you can also get the $5 monthly plan if you only plan to use the web version.
To get a beta invite from us instead of waiting for them to email you, simply post in the comments area below and say that you want a beta account. Include your email address and we will choose 10 random people. To add a little fun to the mix, include “Rdio Me!” in your comment.
Overall my first impressions of the service are very good. Rather than just creating what everyone expect from a music listening/download service, they added in a lot of social features such as reviews, seeing what your friends are listening to, sharing songs, and so on.
