UE Music is turning out to be a great place to stop by for music videos and radio, but one thing was missing which was the artists that make music what it is. The new artist pages have a load of features for you to check out, so come on board if you wanna know what’s new.
Finding Artists
First, you need to find a band or artist. You can browse through them alphabetically, or decide to search for your favorite. Artists are displayed in a nice grid so you can quickly scan and find someone you like. The watch page has also been updated so that the artist is linked to their page.

Videos, Albums, Radio & Photos
On the artist pages themselves, you have a lot of stuff you can view. On the main page, you have the latest videos, albums, photos, and a comments section. You can always click the view more link which let’s you view all of the videos, albums, or photos, and even choose to get the RSS feed for the videos.
What’s great is you can actually play the songs from that album through a service called Grooveshark. A new window pops up so you can continue listening to the album songs while browsing through other content. Want to play all songs from an artist? Then check out the artist radio which is a customized station for nonstop artist related music. http://blog.myunv.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
Lastly, the photos page has a flashy gallery of photos submitted by users from Flickr, so you are guaranteed photos of all types.

Concert Tours
Okay so we got videos, albums, photos, are we missing something? Well to make the artist pages as useful as possible I implemented a section for concert dates. Now for any band or artist that is touring, you can view the dates and places and even order tickets. Enter in your zip code and only concerts near your area are displayed.

Future Updates
UE Music has definitely taken off after the transition to database storage, but there’s still a long way to go. Search can still be improved, and I am thinking of offering a way for the content to reach you, for example the concert tours. This way you don’t have to check things all the time. The charts pages is next on my list of refinements. I need ideas pronto, so if you any let me know.
