It’s finally time to talk about the latest version of UE Chat, which greatly needed an upgrade. Beta 2 (and even 2.1) was very glitchy, don’t get me wrong though it was a very powerful and good looking app. The chatting experience needed to be improved though, and something that looked like it belongs on a desktop didn’t seem to cut it for me. Ah, the end of the world. The Mayans predicted it, Chinese monks knew about it, heck even I had a feeling inside. So what happens when human imagination, history, and most importantly science come together? Hollywood awesomeness. 2012 was released last week, I was planning to see it at the day of the premier opening but my plans weren’t put into action, but I finally saw it last night. Sorry, no big updates today but I decided to make another screencast. Mostly to outline some plans for the site, how things are going, the subtle updates that are out, and what I thought of Michael Jackson’s: This Is It. There’s also this new game that’s coming out soon called DJ Hero. At first it gives kind of the wrong impression, as if it’s a Guitar Hero ripoff but for most I think it’s really cool. I personally can’t wait to check this out, because creating mashups of songs sounds cool but I’m sure there’s more to it than that. Also Guitar Hero was all about rock/metal type songs, but DJ Hero is more hip hop, pop, and rap which are my favorite genres. So before I go babbling on, check out the screencast below.
